We left last year happy and satisfied with the success of the "A book for Christmas" initiative, we had big plans to celebrate Gianni Rodari's centenary but then we had to pause and wait for the right opportunity to deliver books purchased with the voucher received at the Giunti bookshop. What better occasion than the fourth edition of the reading marathon "the Veneto law" which took place on Friday 25 September in all PYP classes.

On the same day, the libraries of the PYP and MYP schools were enriched with 70 books to which we hope to soon be able to add more.

Because as the teacher Gianni Rodari said "you are not born with the instinct of reading as you are born with that of drinking and eating ..... children must be educated to read".

Many thanks to H-Farm International School PTA for this wonderful initiative. The continuous dedication of the PTA, and in particular of Elisabetta GIordan and Sabrina Gentile to reading and literature, has enriched not only the school libraries, but also the lives of our students.
